DONATIONS - in support of John and his horses in their quest to again represent the USA in Equestrian Team competition.

Unfortunately, the United States Equestrian Team (USET) is only able to provide financial aid for sending a horse and rider combination to National and International competitions.

The expenses incurred in the years of training neccessary to qualify for a position on the TEAM must be paid by the rider/owner of the horse. Coaching, equipment, veterinary expenses, travel and entry fees are just a few of the many costs involved.

As a result, amateur athletes must rely on funding from private individuals and corporations in order to compete and train with the goal of representing the United States in International and Olympic competition.

The American Horse Trials Foundation (AHTF) was established in 1987 to assist 3-Day Event Riders and Organizers in raising tax deductible financial support for national and international competition.

John is eligible for training and competition grants from the AHTF. Your tax deductible contribution to the AHTF will make it possible for John to represent the United States of America in Team competitions.

How you can help: Make your TAX DEDUCTIBLE contribution payable to: THE AMERICAN HORSE TRIALS FOUNDATION (AHTF)
Do not put John Williams' name anywhere on the check but enclose a note with your check indicating that the donation is to be made to John's account.

You may mail your donation directly to the Foundation, at:
The American Horse Trials Foundation, Inc.
221 Grove Cove Road
Centreville, MD 21617

Thank you!

Please come meet John, and the horses at one of our horse trials or 3-day events.

More about the American Horse Trials Foundation

Donations through the American Horse Trials Foundation (AHTF) are 100% tax deductible according to IRS Code Section 501(c)(3). The AHTF was established in 1987 to assist 3-Day Event Riders and Organizers in raising tax deductible financial support for national and international competition. In 1996 the Bylaws were revised so that the Foundation could assist riders competing in the related disciplines of dressage and show jumping.

Since its inception in 1987 The American Horse Trials Foundation has distributed over $4.6 Million directly to Eventers for competitive activities. At this time, only 7% of each contribution is deducted for administraative expenses. To learn more about the AHTF, please CLICK HERE.

Please keep in mind that the Foundation does no fundraising. Fundraising is the responsibility of the individual rider which is why John is asking for your support via this website.
